How It Works

At Center for Mediation, we make it easy for you to resolve your issues, claims, and disputes through mediation and negotiation. Here's how it works:

Schedule a Consultation

The first step is to schedule a brief complimentary pre-mediation consultation. During this initial meeting, we'll discuss your situation and determine if mediation is right for you.

Mediation Session

If you decide to move forward with mediation, we'll schedule an in-person or a virtual mediation session. During the session, our mediators will: make sure that you are heard; help you crystalize your goals; facilitate discussion and help formulate options that address your needs and interests. We will make a list of unresolved issues and will tackle them one by one until we reach resolution.

Reach a Deal

Once all issues are resolved, we can prepare a memorandum of understanding that outlines what was agreed to and provide guidance if you need a Property Settlement Agreement.
